This storm is sure putting the "Oh No!" in Ono Rosa.
Worst dad joke of the year thus far?
Tough day for the Duke Farm eagles with the snow and two eggs to keep warm. Up.to their necks on live cam feed.
Meant to post in the Mindless Dickery thread but hi guys.
Let's try this one more time.
On Wednesday, 3/14, we shall be meeting @:
Ono Rosa Restaurant
282 County Rd 513
Glen Gardner, NJ 08826
See you on Wednesday.
Temperatures in the 30's today with mostly cloudy skies and a stiff breeze from the west.
See you later.
Ono Rosa is one of our favorites to break up the week as the owner tends bar and mingles with the patrons. A typical home town watering hole with good food and cold suds. Italian fare with nightly specials and meal combinations by request. Tony Cirianni aims to please the most particular palate. The bar was not crowded upon our arrival and remained that way with customers coming and going. Great parking and being right on CR 513 make it an easy access from all points. Even though it was Pi Day(3/14) and one of us came equipped, I can vouch for the Tiramisu on the desert menu. We shall return.
Survival during the nor'easters was a topic of conversation with wires and trees downed by the storm along with days of power outage. Memories of a 1959 Borgward Coupe were shared along with His/Hers snowblowers, an upcoming interview at J & J, and a business trip to Austin, Texas. The annual journey to Iowa is on the calendar.
The meeting opened at 8:19 pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports.
A quorum was available.
