Wadester, you gonna need one for your GS :huh My friend Wild Bill uses a 12 volt wench to get his GS out of some pretty hairy spots. I didn't drink the kool aid, I decided to go with another flavor and scored a Super Tenere....:clap Can't wait to head north for a few weeks through Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Colorado. Thinking about going back to Big Bend? May go back in February when it gets to cold to ride in Oklahoma.:lol3

And why do you think I'm asking for 2 of them? If I'm pulling my pig out of a hole I'll need them both. Needing to carry a power winch? If I'm going into that kind of country I'm riding my DR350.

I'm planning on getting back to the Big Bend in March with my daughter, do the tourist thing on the GSA. I might be interested in getting down there on the DR in Feb.

I've tried (and failed) to buy online yesterday and today with different computers and different browsers, with the same error:
It immediately detects if I type the wrong (amex) CC number, so it's doing *some* verification, but it just won't complete the transaction. Is there a problem with the site?

Ok, I'll try again this eve. If it still errors, I'll just pay full price from the manufacturer's site and get it done.

    Cheers,
