so who was in Canaan Valley Saturday on a 640Adv and a 950adv? Both had ohio tags...
What model KTM? Im not very familliar with them, but im sure we could figure how to make a lowering bracket or links.
Got a question for you guys. This weekend we are going to be riding to Ellisonville, its in the Wayne forest at the southern tip. Coming from zanesville area. Any things I need to see, roads I need to ride, that kind of stuff? I'll be on my xrr, one guy on a klr, and one 1200gs, so tight trails and highway are both out.
None of us actually ride, we just sit at home. Maybe you should ask Landon.
Hey now, I rode a whopping 3.2 miles to get milk and mail letters yesterday.
Wo wo wo wo wait a minute. Is Jules a chic and is she hot? We ask for pics and then we decide if we are riders or not. Until then we are super studs.
What route did you take?
Oddly the 2 biggest hills in the area 153 and 44. And only 2 right turns excluding parking lot turn ins...which oddly are on the right also.. gotta watch those straight lines.
Try that one. It looked fun, tried to ride it but ran out of time, and there was another by it on that site. Aside from that I don't make my way down there much.
There's also 555 in the ne part of wayne nf (not sure where the fun bit is exactly) and 78 from glouster out to McConnellsville, both of which should be closer.
good questions, but he / she already has a girlfriend
Either way, it probably doesn't help you out much - you can go back to not riding now
Thanks for the RR.
By the way I went camping and added to my RR, see my sig. Absolutely nothing new or stuff you guys haven't rode yourselves, but its my contribution to ADV.

My first rr ever. Ooo. Im suddenly compelled to buy a go pro now...
Unrelated... anyone have any campground recommendations east of Columbus? A group of us (roughly 10) will be doing a 'hell run' by Buckeye Lake September 29th, and we're hoping to tent camp that night. The only close campground we found is a KOA, which is generally to strict/family-friendly for our rowdy group.
Anywhere between Columbus, Newark, Zanesville, and Lancaster would do.
Mine is a PDS, pretty damn simple.
Lowering is done via spacers (sold by KTM for other models) or custom made and placed on the shock shaft between the piston and shaft bushing.
I have a set to lower it 2" front and rear already if she does indeed go that route so you guys can stop searching. The link she is referring to is for the non enduro models that use linkage.
She didn't know I already have the parts
There are no hills on 153! nothing a wheelchair couldn't scale. 44 south of St. Pete's is tough though. Lived off 153 a few years.
I'll be out your way the 16th
The Road Rat and I toured part of the Mohawk Valley today. Dust was down, no road graders out. Had to get off and lower the tire pressures. Were able to connect 70 miles of just gravel - 10 miles or less pavement - that including 2 from the parking lot and 3 miles back to the lot. Didn't have time to get NE of Warsaw towards Killbuck - I'm sure we could have come up with an easy 100 miles of good gravel. Not bad for a such a little quadrant (only if you like to blast the back roads - it's an aquired taste of wanna-be flat trackers). If you don't enjoy that type of riding I would stay away for sure!
That's a real lighthouse - hand built by one. The old gent loves to talk about it and will allow you to tour it to the top. It's about 5 miles north of Warsaw - just keep riding around till you find it.
BTW - thanks Larry - had a good ride. We keep doing it till we get it right!
(get that foot peg welded . . . )
Dillon State Park has camping, it's in between Zaneyville and Nerk.
No alcohol allowed in State Parks .
