I think the curse got me from just reading about the shit. The wifes car broke on our way to Columbus yester. Yay. Good news is that the water pump turned out to be good afterall and the new one I put on was just for shits and giggles. Apparently it is the lower intake gasket that is leaking and just caused enough mess that it looked like it was the water pump. I have zero patience working on my own stuff and I missed spending the day with the wifey to celebrate our anniversary and I had planned on riding over last night to Sparksters for a bonfire. Soooo I called off today to either spend the day fixing it or saying screw it and trade it in. Either way it is a pain in the ass, one just lasting 48 months longer......:cry

Hard to disagree with logic like that, but at this point I'd consider the KLR more Kathy Bates and the WR closer to Rachel Ray. Cute, peppy personality, a little extra meat on the bones, can cook when needed. :D

Every time I sell a bike to someone I know, except Slammer, they wreck it and or destroy it, you'd add insult to injury by showing me video of it's demise! You can ride it Saturday if you want.

Thought about it but rather have done the motor work myself but sadly, I already have 2 Hondas in pieces and no time to work on those.

I think I found my next project bike but I need to find a 690E someone will let me ride on a motocross track.

Thanks! You mentioned a while back how linear and controllable the big-bore four stroke KTM's are, it is pretty insane how good it feels coming off the DRZ. DRZ feels kinda "clumsy" now.

Oil service will last at least one full ride for me :fitz Apparently the valves barely move on the newer XC4 engines, but there's not a very long history to show how reliable they will be compared to the RFS powerplants.

    Yeah, it's from WV.

I had to send my gopro off to get fixed. I must have hit one too many tree limbs with it on that last AA loop at the Baby Burr ride because it just locked up on me and I couldn't turn it off. I told them to just send me the new H3 in return.. :D

Don't get your hopes up video haters...I still have an older H1 to bring to Crow. :evil

Hey Sion, did you get the XR fixed this past weekend? If not, maybe you could get BuildIT to loan you his YZ426 since he doesn't ever ride it. :1drink

I've been too lazy to ride much of anything recently. We all go thru slumps from time to time. As for the YZ it's still for sale. :evil

Battery removal/replaced fixed mine when it wouldn't turn off then shortly afterwards it wouldn't stay on. I deleted all the files on the SD card including system files and it went back to fully functional.

Controllable, More than likely the number one reason the SX-F model never wins a shootout in the magazines. 90% of the people who buy a 450 can't use all the power, yet always want a big hit. When a pro tells you more power wasn't needed, smoothing it out and making it usable was and being able to get it to the ground was important, the local rider isn't going to need it either.

A friend of mine says he can barely hold on to his CRF450, has too much power. Told him to put the stock pipe back on and master the tamer version 1st. He didn't seem to think that was a good idea. :huh
