Yeah, the stick kills a lot of options, so does the fact that I don't like black, and I need head room and legroom.

I have heard as many bad stories about Subies as good ones but an Impreza or Outback is on my shortlist.

What am I looking for, one car that can do it all!:Norton I have been somewhat spoiled by my PT. Don't laugh! The stickshift turns a blah wagon into a fairly entertaining car that can haul a lot of crap. I haven't had my backseat in the thing since the 2nd week after I bought it. I have hauled my snow blower, my FIL's rototiller, bicycles, camping gear and moved half the boxes from my house when we moved. The large opening and convenient tie downs make it very handy. Hell, I bet I could fit a Grom in the back. However it is a piece of Chrysler crap, at 133K miles it is very worn out and not worth putting any more money into it.

    Look, a motorcycle!

LEXINGTON, OHIO (December 17, 2013) – Mid-Ohio announced today a date swap for its two major 2014 motorcycle events.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days has been moved from its original date to July 11-13. The AMA Pro Racing event, the Buckeye SuperBike Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire, remains as a two-day event and is now scheduled for July 19-20.

Due to a conflict with other motorcycle events, both locally and nationally, AMA and AMA Pro Racing looked to explore new dates and Mid-Ohio officials were open to the adjustment.

    @ Scott, I like this 500 version...

That thing is killer. YPVS too.

If your looking for a car check out the MazdaSpeed 6. Sporty, stick shift, nicely equipped and reasonably priced on the used market.

Not terribly efficient, 25ish on premium, but a riot. Add a programmer and its a damn weapon!

Not a problem with the manny tranny.

Auto trans seems to be the most common complaint with Chrysler products.

I have seen a few of these pop up. Mostly in Black, meh.

Do you know if these have a LSD, seems like a lot of power for an open diff.

Another Yamaha we never got here, Someday I would like to do some importing and start a Yamaha collection.

Mt wife drives a Mazda5. I'm certainly not impressed with the build quality of the car nor the components. It feels kind of cheap, but the drivetrain has held up well.
Mazdas tend to eat rear tires. The cars handle awesomely well for what they are, but Mazda achieves this by dialing a large amount of negative camber into the rear.

My typical complaint with Chrysler products is that they're Chrysler. They're like BMW in the regard that they over complicate things to a fault. Brakes and suspensions were fun on the ones I looked at and replaced for friends. The neons alone had about 4 different setups for Chrysler Plymouth and dodge variants IIRC.

Good luck finding one of those...

(edit, hmm 3 ~100 miles away... Nah, I want a wagon...)

Even the the Mazda 6 Sport Wagon is rather rare.

Really, the Speed3 oughta have AWD with all that power.
Okay, I see here that it has the Torsen* (patent expired, credit where due) LSD but that's alot of HP for a FWD light weight car...

The MS6 will actually take the MS3 due to the awd. My buddies with a tune will do 4 wheel drifts, without a clutch drop (he isn't abusive to his cars). The 6 also has a LSD in the rear. It is MUCH bigger inside than a 3, or a WRX or EVO even. Its a very nice car to be inside, and comes with lots of goodies (touchless keyless entry, HID's, etc).
