346 for this trip. Would have liked more, but wanted back before bambi's came out in force in my area. Saw plenty smashed ones on the routes I took back. Yo, Goonie! That sure is an awesome bike lift in your pic.:evil Sure hope we can hook up again soon. Wolfietigger & Tod2 are a hoot! BTW, ref. the breakfast invite, will you be the chef? (and no, not krispie kreames, either!):rofl :wave

Any of you guys in the area today - Sunday? I saw a bunch of bikes on my Sunday jaunt around the Coshocton area vis-a-vis 39, 83, 546, 514, 520, 715, 97......yadda yadda yadda. Stopped for lunch at Peggy Sues and there were a few Beemers, a ZRX, Interceptor, and a Guzzi zipping by.....though not all together....

I was on a blue SV, buddy was on a black Duc.

Silly me! I thought the purpose of owning a GS was to buy lots of gizmos to hang on it :):

Glad to be a tour guide. If I'd thought about it, I'd have actually planned a route rather than winging it.

Mark 121-316 - I was south of Coshocton late this afternoon on 541/93/83 but didn't see another bike.

Yesterday afternoon we went geochaching at Salt Fork and there was a group (gaggle, pod, school?) of bikes on 541 near Kimbolton with a couple of beemers in it.

Beautiful weather today - wish I could've ridden more. Looks like Monday is going to be typical Ohio winter: cold and rainy. :cry

Oh yeah I'll be the chef, nothing like that NE chapter breakfast though. Looks like the good weather is over for awhile but we still might try one before Christmas.:ear

I was doing the Morrow/Delaware/Marion/Union county backroad blasting today- fighting the wind for much of it. I had looked here (on the forum), to see if there was anything happening today- I'll have to catch some of you guys one of these days.

Especially Wolford- I've got to see the new bike.

I would have liked to get a ride in today. Unfortunately the Holiday "FFF"'s (Forced Family Functions) are already kicking in. I want to see (and hear) that new Aprilia.

I was out in the wind too. Yikes, it was fierce! :yikes But it was great to get out and not freeze my ass off for it being this late in the year.

    Today's fprecast/ :(:

I am praying the snow stays at bay- they are notorious for laying down mass quanities of salty here, so that long after the snow has come and gone, the road remains white and corrosive.

Hey, whatever happened to that liquid beer-mash stuff they were trying to de-ice roads?

    Hey... new guy here.

Figured I post here first. I live in Ohio currently, Strongsville (just south of Cleveland) and been riding for awhile now.

I have 19,000 miles on my naked SV650 here in the past two years, with the majority of my riding around the Coshocton area. I usually ride down on 83, stop in Millersburg for a bite to eat and decide to hit 83, 62, 60 and then what ever after I'm done with those starting routes.

On Saturday I rode down with 4 of my frineds, 2 on SV650's, one SV1000S and a friend on a GSXR1000. We saw a group of 4 or 5, a couple of Bimmer's, a VFR and a Katana when we were coming south on 83 at the 643 intersection that group was going north on 643.

It was a great ride, played on 541 for a bit, a little around Salt Fork Lake, and where ever. Forget the routes, just rode.

I'm glad I found this board too. I frequent the SVRider.com, and Sport-touring.net

My plans for this winter is to pick up a nice shiney new V-Strom in 04 guise... Well unless some other sport tourer catches my eyes at the Cleveland M/C show. I like the Capaonord and the GS, but the Strom just appeals to me in ways the others cannot ( $$$$$$ ) :lol2

Well looks like this years riding is shot for the weekends... But I'll still be riding during the week... Gotta squeeze all the miles out this year!

    ...and utterly heartfelt. :splat

    Ah well.

Maybe they need the taxes so Wexner can get his white fences repainted, or somesuch.

Meanwhile- I'm off to Alabama, sans bike. Visiting family for the holidays- I'll try to check back.

I swear I saw a salt truck on 23 today, though. You guys ride much in salt?
