    Hi Guys,

I'm new here. Glad to be here.

Just wanted to share with you my experience regarding these new Adventure Pegs from Fastway. (http://www.promotobillet.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_185_193&products_id=666)

I swapped to the Adventure pegs today and what an improvement over the stock pegs. Standing on the pegs works much better. You can adjust the angle of the pegs as well, which is a unique feature. Useful if you want your knees to point a bit inwards, easier to squeeze the tank in certain situations.
I also noticed an improvement on the peg-steering, it became quicker when tilting the pegs slightly upwards. The peg covers the whole width of the boot plus 1cm.

Here's a link to the pics: (hope it shows) https://picasaweb.google.com/113445...authkey=Gv1sRgCMSb6biJzJzQmAE&feat=directlink

    All the best,

    Dan

The link your provided is foe the oil cooled bikes. I have a set of Pivot pegz that was on my oil cooler. However, I tried mounting them on my water buffalo and the right side didnt have clearance. I could have filed away some of the stop (that prevents it from going up or down too much on the spring) but didnt feel like it was a good solution at that point and I didnt try any further. The left side fit great though.

Did you have to mod these at all or did they work right out of the box?

    Hi guys,

The Adventure pegs worked out of the box. They fit both the old cooled 12GS and the new LC. No mods necessary. Takes 15 minutes per side.

The brake lever is from Touratech. It's a nice lever but the settings they say you can make are not all that great. It's very solid though.

I'd like to get this one: http://www.motocrossparts.co.nz/motocross-parts-accessories.php?id=2936
Unfortunately they don't make them for BMW but it's great cause it's got a flexing tip, so when you hit something it's just gonna flex back nicely :) I think I can go to a smith and just transplant the tip to the Touratech one.

    Take care. Dan

What the hell? My pivot pegs didnt fit right. The bolt under the mount on the right side was interfering.
