We wanted to start a thread here in Vendors to answer any questions about our Honda Africa Twin high fender kit and upcoming ATR Camel Tank for the Honda Africa Twin. Currently, there's information spread out over several threads.

    Our high fender kit includes:

-Billet aluminum fender mount with brake fluid manifold
    -Stainless steel fork guards mounts
    -Stainless steel hose guides
-3 braided stainless steel brake hoses from HELâ„¢
    -Mounting hardware
    -Camel ADV and HELâ„¢ decals

There's a YouTube video explaining the kit here:

    Installation video here:

We've done 2 rounds of pre-sales so dozens of kits are already floating around.

Below are a couple Australian customers' bikes:

We're using a KTM SMR fender on our bike. The white parts were painted with Krylon Fusion "Red Pepper" and then clear coated (both paint and clear are from a rattle can).

Here is a picture with my 950SM fender (while running my OEM tire). I will run an Acerbis fender with a TKC80 front . . . which was fine on my previous 950 Adventure at speed. I did use an approx. 3/8" spacer to tip it back a bit for more front clearance etc.

    Very impressive First Class Kit.

What racks will that tank work with?

Confirmed at this point to work with Touratech Zega and SW Motech. We're working with BUMOT in the UK on a bracket to work with their rack system.
There are others that should be compatible but we haven't had a chance to confirm.

The tank is definitely not compatible with the factory Honda panniers, GIVI or Hepco Becker.

The quick connect on the under seat mount and the tabs are the problem area on the HB racks. In order to mount the racks over the tank, that whole area would need to be clear. Unfortunately that's right where the vent and filler cap need to be located. We had a similar issue with the GIVI PL1144CAM and PLR1144 Rapid Release.

Let me know on the pre-sale I have the SW-Motech Dakar Panniers, looks like they will fit up OK but happy to figure out what they might need if any issues 20170410_113837.jpg .

I'm guessing those rear tubes are right where the filler neck resides.

Unfortunately, I can say those racks won't be compatible with the tank. They'd require major surgery to clear.

So do you think the CT-ATX tank would work with the filler in front of the indicator. That would let that rear bar past that tank, would it not. How far out from the chassis rail is the front of the CT-ATX tank.

The ATX tank is about the same overall width as the stock muffler so if your pannier racks are symmetrical then you maybe ok. I'll have to mount an ATX on the shop bike (ATR is currently installed) and get some more pics and measurements for you.
