    It could be two left mx-showa's,with an adaptor for the right calliper, that's the same as what Boano does with the 50mm marzochi's :evil

    No... i defently like the XRV. Having both those bikes i would say the XRV is better in almost all situations. (except 2 up with lots of lagage) I joust thought the Varadero with spoked wheels, was a much nicer option than the original one.

    Thanks for the "AfrivaDero" pic. Would be nice though to see the work your friend did to make this bike. Does he have a webpage or some report on rebuilding this bike?
