Anyone have a /5 LWB seat, /6 seat, seat pan, or solo seat? My pan is missing the seat lock post.

Up for sale is a nice running LWB r75/5. Matching numbers. With title. 56k on speedo. I believe it may have originally been a euro cop bike. I purchased it, already owning a /5. I was considering turning this one into something more sporty, but finances dictate I sell. Starts right up. Shifts great. Has had 2k in mechanical work on it in the last year (previous to me acquiring it-i have all receipts, ie new clutch plate, shaft seal, main seal, steering head bearings, steering and wheel alignment). The bike is not concourse quality, but a head turner anyhow. It has the desirable cop seat and rack with krauser bags. It has a large /6 tank on it (great paint but has 3 dings-which I'd recommend having rubbed out. Will need knee pads. Cosmetically the bike is pretty clean. Short sport BMW bars. The bucket has a dent as well as the bucket ring. The tachometer has spun it's needle. I've pulled the fenders and tail light, prepped for prime, but haven't gotten around to painting them. Headers/mufflers are pretty clean with a few minor dings. There are a few busted fins on the underside of right cylinder (not viewable unless lying on your back under bike). There was a low speed wobble that I may have just addressed by correcting the steering damper. Need to ride it more to verify. The tires will need to be replaced (the front is ok in the short term). No side stand.

I'm in Whitley City, Kentucky. Would potentially be willing to drop off in asheville or knoxville area.

I'm looking for the circled item, part 16 in this fiche shamelessly stolen from Max's:

Neither one of my saddle bags has it and it doesn't appear to be available from BMW. I'm thinking someone with similar tendencies to me (read pack rat-itis) has a case or two that's thrashed but still has the hardware. Otherwise, I might try and fab something up.

    Thanks all!

If you look at the caribou cases luggage system, they have something similar. Maybe you can purchase it from them as a part. Otherwise a little steel cable, with a couple eyelets witll do the same job.

I haven't looked but I bet they sell something like that at your local Hardware Store. If you don't have a larger well stoked one near you then on line will have almost anything.

Has some screws broken in it so you will have to remove those. That's how I got it from another member here. Should be pretty easy.

Only reason I'm selling is Because I decided to stay with my /6 tank.

Also have a brand new motobins seat cover. Looks just like this one
    [IMG]

40$ shipped for the seat cover. Prices are firm.

    Thanks

I'm looking for a brown saddle bag. I have some ideas that I'm looking to exercise. Don't care the condition. Actually the more best up the better. Smaller the better but if its big I can work w tht.

I have a pair of used and probably non-functional Nivomat shocks that I took off my R100T. The boots are in OK shape. Not bent, but I believe the seals are shot and all the oil has gone away. Mounting bushings need to be replaced. If they have some value to anyone, please make me an offer I cannot refuse :rofl. Standard shipping to the lower 48 US is on the buyer. I can take some pics of them if there is any interest. They are still mounted to the bike in this old picture.
