Looking for an R65 H4 headlight reflector for my /5.

I recently installed the keyed /5 ignition switch kit from Rocky Point Cycle. The switch unit is causing clearance problems for my current reflector. The R65 H4 reflectors supposedly fit without problems.

The original owner of my bike kept plenty of spare parts. Sort of a pack rat. Included is 3 petcocks.

    2x 16 12 2 307 114 (right)
    1x 16 12 2 307 113 (left)

One of the right side petcocks looks almost completely brand new. I'm having a hard time figuring if it was roughed up a little getting stored away or it was only used for a few thousand miles. $25 shipped

The other right side and left side looks like they could use a rebuild and obviously came from a used bike. $15 shipped each.

I might be interested in the left (16 12 2 307 113). My bike has two rights for some reason. Shoot me a PM.

Sold!...I have a Monolever Swingarm with an extra drive shaft that I bought to lengthen for a HPN project. Went with a Paralever instead. Paid $165 for this and would like to get that back out of it. Wanted to give you guys a chance at it before it went to Flea Bay.

Black, 22 Ltr. Tank. Complete Frame up Cosmetic and Mechanical Restoration. BEAUTIFUL!!!

1972 BMW R75/5 has just had a complete Frame up Cosmetic and mechanical Restoration. Everything is NEW or Rebuilt!

The work includes complete frame and sub-frame repaint, rebuilt heads, new rings, motor lower end inspected, engine ground upgrade kit installed, cam chain, rear main seal, oil pump specked and new o’ring, rebuilt transmission, inspected and resealed final drive, rebuilt forks, reconditioned instruments and hand switches, rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt petcocks, New steering neck bearings, Rebuilt wheels with new spokes and bearings and seals, New Metzeller Tires, New foot peg rubbers, all rubber boots new, New cables, New battery, New mirrors, New spark wires, New Headers, New mufflers, Rebuilt / recovered seat, New tank emblems, Tank and fenders are painted in original BMW Glazruit Avus Black paint with hand pin stripes, plus many, many more details.

After finished building the bike, an initial 650 Break-in Miles were put on the bike, then did a fluids change, engine re-torque and tune up, and an end-to-end inspection, adjustments, and retightening. The bike is ready to ride until the next Major Service interval (5000 Miles) with only a couple of periodic oil and filter changes in between.

This bike is near flawless and the closest you will ever find to a brand new 1972 BMW R75/5.

Those eagle eye detail freaks out there will probably say “but the seat is not correct”. OK, it has a 1970-71 seat and grab rail, not a 1972-73 seat and grab rail. i will be fixing this in the near future, as soon as i get a good 1972-73 seat foam to do the job with. In the mean time, the seat that is on it is VERY nice, and rides perfectly.

Thousands and thousands of dollars invested, and More hours than I care to count. All major work done by a MASTER BMW motorcycle technician.

The Bike will come with a 6 MONTH WARRANTY!

Asking 10,350 OBO. This is a STEAL for this bike. Its the closest thing you can get to a r75/5 BRAND new from the dealer, without going back in time and buying one new.

By is stored in the show room of my shop in a climate controlled building. I can supply a work order for all of the work done (though the prices are half of actual because it is the shop rate, not a customer rate)

call or text anytime, 513-212-2667. SERIOUS ENQUIRES ONLY!!!

I'm still hoping to find a right side, white Krauser side case for my /6. The left side case I have is far from perfect, so a somewhat homely (read that; cheap) right side bag would be just right. Only the left bag was included with the bike when I bought it.

Also, I've been thinking I'd like to put a solo seat on it. Since it's a "beater" bike, something just slightly better than a pile of rust and shreadded upholstery would probably be OK. The bike currently has a Corbin dual touring seat with rear grab rail that's in nice shape (no tears or seams coming apart) that would be available for a trade. I can e-mail a picture of the Corbin seat if you have a solo to trade. I won't sell the Corbin outright until I find a solo to put in it's place.

    Thanks for looking.

I need a complete R65 wire harness. Model year not important...I just need the whole thing, including fuse box and connector board. Looking to wire up a /6 with no headlight in which to stuff the wiring board...need too move it under the seat.

Looking for a clean Monza Blue Front Fender. Doesn't have to be perfect since the rest of my bike isn't, but needs to be without cracks and just normal wear and tear on the paint.

Let me know what you got and how much.

    Thanks.

I found a somewhat unlikely source for a NOS Krauser Rack and T-Set (in black only)

    http://www.motorcycleandoutdoors.com/Krauser_Luggage_Rack_for_BMW_p/vkrauserbmwrack.htm

for $160. I would rather have the cast aluminum instead and will probably keep looking for that color. My question would anyone have any ideas where I might find the supporting brackets that affix to the frame (near the seat and down near the footpegs- around the shocks)?

I'm trying to clone the bike (that's legal right?) I saw on

    http://www.grouseguitars.com.au/bmw/index.htm

and the racks really make the bike something special (that and the S Fairing).

I'm pretty sure I've got a rack like that. Need the whole thing or just the connecting bars? Get a hold of me.
