If it's a good quality /5 seat, I'm interested. I have a /7 solo seat on my bike now, so I'm not gonna replace it unless I find one that's pretty correct (metal pan, white piping). But I would love to fill in the gap that I have between my /7 seat and /5 tank.

Do we need an "Airhead Wish List" thread to keep this "Airhead Fleamarket" thread from being completely burried in parts requests.

An airhead wishlist thread is probably a good idea. That way I don't have to trawl through some tosser's post that offers nothing constructive to the thread whatsoever.

:clap And pics of them parts. Thread is getting buried and just why I am debating posting parts here. So far I have just been sending PM/pics if I think someone could be interested.

"PARTS WANTED" thread please, and only one of them for the ones of us that may have to live with a very slow connection for a while.

    hi folks,
I'm having a mini cleanout of accumulated bits to suit /5 through /7 models

/5 rear hub stamped 1971. Its clean, looks to have good splines but the hub is slightly stripped. The bearing race is a snug fit cold and I think some loctite sleeve compound would be enough to take up the slack. $25

pair FIAMM horns. a bit rusty but would clean up nice. $35

an RT? or RS? instrument gauge mount This is the tall version for use in fairings I believe. $10

/6 /7 RHS perch and lever. The throttle tube is in poor condition but the rest looks good. $40

Thunderchild solid diode board mounts. unused and ordered by mistake. $10

I pulled the wiring harness from the R90/6 I was restoring because it was obviously the wrong harness. Originally the bike had an RS fairing and I'm assuming the PO had this harness installed to allow for the extra cable lengths etc. Comes with headlight and indicator sections and I think the fairing gauges. Rear section missing but otherwise ok. $75

a bunch of brake master cylinder bits to suit /6 or /7 undertank fitting. Will both need rebuilding. $50

ATE 40mm caliper, braided cable and solid line with mount. I think this is ready to bolt on but no guarantee. $55

A bunch of Bing carb bits. the bodies are both RHS. Stamped 64/32/9 and 64/32/11. $75

I have tried to price these reasonably. If you think the price on something is out of line, let me know and we can talk.

postage extra - I can squeeze these into priority mail boxes which seems the best way to ship nowadays.
    Always willing to trade too.

A /5 and a /6 ignition switch are two completely different things. Which one are you looking for?

I thought the 74 /6 switches were the same as /5. Not true?

Yup.. and the 1974 /6 combination switches on the handlebars are the same as the /5 switches.

Also, the 51-25-1-233-279 part number he listed is a 3-position /6 ignition switch set (and that part number includes the fork and seat locks) for 1975-1976. The 1974 ignition switch is a 5-position, and as has been said, the /5 ignition switch is completely different (and its part number is 61 32 8 048 100).

The switch mechanism itself is the same, but the wiring differs. The /5 part will have soldered ends, and is the one they usually supply, but the 1974 /6 switches are a different part number, include the connectors and have different wire lengths. Plus, being a one year only part, they are generally harder to find. I've had some luck finding them on German eBay.

Anyone want the jets from my 64/32/11 & 12 carbs? They're the standard main, needle, and idle jets for an R90/6. Specs here: http://goo.gl/OUe53

    I'm rejetting for an R75/5

Paypal me $5 to cover shipping and a small padded envelope and they're yours.
