Dang, Bob! And I thought I felt bad just for letting my ST tank fall off the trailer it was sitting on and get a tiny little ding above the tank badge.

I wouldn't know whether to curse or cry first on that one.

First you curse, then you cry.

sorry about your tank.. I am still on the fence about selling my full set of ST body parts. One day if I find a rough ST I would like to make a nice minty one.

    Hey

I have the new version of the Krauser hard cases made by HepcoBecker. I bought these from Bobs BMW a while ago. 2 years ago I was in an accident and cracked the left case lid pretty good. Does anyone out there have a left side case for sale? Or a broken case but good lid I can replace mine with? Here is what I have, from Bobs website.

I was the US importer for Hepco Becker for 12 years and also had the opportunity to see how these bags are made and the only way to replace the lid id to send HB the bag. This never made much sense to me as Siebenrock who has the exclusive rights to these bags offers the hinges on their website. Contact vertrieb@hepco-becker.de or krystian@siebenrock.com.

**UPDATE** Got a seat now, now looking for the grabrail. See new fleamarket posting.

Looking for a rust-free seat pan or whole seat with the little turtleback for a 1978 R100/7. Ideally just a pan, but I'll think about a whole seat, just might have to count my pennies first.

My seat pan has rusted out by the hinge mountings.

hope you can keep paint on it...I never could, even had it ceramic coated still surface rust. They do sound pretty good though. You'll need to double check welds on the foot peg mount.

im putting together an S. I want the lower bars that i guess are the "euro bend".

    Im open to buying BUT....

Ive got an RT(i think) bar... 4 1/2 inches of rise.

    I've got these:

which i paid pretty good money for. they are 22mm, i cant read the manufacturers mark on them, Fueller, or something? I beieve they were made back in the day. They are straight, shiny, have some nicks and clamp scratches, and worked "real well" for what they are. Which turns out to be "not what I should have bought". I've never ridden anything with that sort of ride position(tucked), and it isn't my bag i guess.

First hope would be to trade the RT bars, and hold onto the drops just in case i change my mind and try again, but then again, I am pretty broke and would like to get this bike "done" (yes I am aware that "done" is a joke) as cheap as I can.

My friend dumped his r90/6 today, and tore up his tach and speedo. I'm not sure if he needs the gauge bracket too. Please let me know if you've got anything. Thanks, Mike

FOR SALE, a front fork assembly from a mid-90's KTM/Husqvarna that has already been modified to bolt on to a BMW Airhead frame.Steering stem was modified by a professional machinist to accept stock BMW bearings.
54mm triple clamp hole diameter, 40mm fork leg diameter, with axle and Brembo brake caliper.
Adjustable dampening via knobs on top of forks and click screws at the axle ends.No apparent leaks from seals.
NEW FORK SPRINGS WILL BE REQUIRED, since this front end was originally set up for a much lighter bike.
I've done no development past getting the stem and bearings right, and I have had it assembled to a frame to verify.
Beyond that it's ready for someone to finish their project that I decided not to build.
PM me for pics, I don't have any ability to post photos here, will gladly send detail shots if requested.$450.00, expect about $50.00 shipping in the US.

You might tell your friend to not throw away the broken one. In fact it might be a good idea to see what it would cost to fix. A working, presentable, /6 tach & speedo is not cheap.

If he wants to run the bike with out the instruments something has to be done about the charging circuit. The bike will run on battery only with the instruments discoed. This can be by-passed but I don't remember the way to do that at the moment. And besides this is flea market so go to the Airheads forum for further details.

Alright, found a new seat and pan, now I am looking for the grabrail! Max wants my firstborn child:

    52 53 1 232 966 HANDLE $217.42

Anybody got one in presentable shape? :ear My bike is a runner, not some show queen, so a few scratches on the chrome, whatever. The little baggage rail would be pretty cool.

I'm thinking about 30-35 bucks shipped, some more for the baggage style.
