Did you factor in the 10% discount he offers depending on payment method?

No. Since there is no savings doing business with him with some stuff, I could see 10% steering me his way if I was spending thousands and I could qualify for that discount. That is if I knew the parts were good which I don't.

My whole point is that it seems to me like a lot of airhead owners are jumping over a dollar to get at a dime.

FWIW, I got carb kits from them not too long ago and the quality was fine and speed of service was super quick.

Everything I've ever gotten from them was top shelf. Note: the 90 degree Karcoma petcocks INCLUDE the screen stainer, plus free shipping on anything over $25. Beat that !

I have no local dealer. Closest is 60 miles and airheads are a mystery to them. Hans is a phone call away and knowledgeable about airheads.

I am interested in acquiring a reasonably priced red smoke seat cowl to fit the original seat I just got.

I am not looking for perfect shape here, just something decent.

PM me if you have one you can part with.

Most dealers have a phone. I buy/order parts over the phone all the time with my local dealer. The parts are often higher quality than aftermarket sources although BMWNA is now getting some of their parts from the same places a lot of crap aftermarket parts have been coming from for years. It will be a shame when the only parts you can get is that Capital Cycle type crap. IMO, going around dealers to save pennies or in a lot of cases not even that will hasten that day.

Airheads are a mystery to them? Part numbers are part numbers.

I dumped the bike for the first time today. Was fun but my right hand valve cover isn't too happy...No holes in it but its pretty scraped up.

So I'm interested in either a pair of peanuts in decent shape or a single square painted right side cover such as this (pictured is a left :D):

I'm looking for a set of the tubular Krauser mounts for my /5 restoration. I've got a set of the cast ones here, but am not keen on moving the turn signals on the old girl since it is a resto. LWB by the way. Let me know what you've got!

    Gidday,
Trying to find a pair of Wixom saddlebags. Preferably in reasonable condition (but I can repair a rough set) and with mounts to suit an early 77 R100.
Anybody with any or knows about of a pair could you please send me a message.
    Cheers Dazza
