Yes. Remove points plate complete w/ points. Put in baggie. Remove advance unit and put in same baggie. Give area where points plate was removed a spritze of carb cleaner to remove oil. Bolt in Boyer plate in place of old points plate. Install Boyer rotor in place of old advance unit. Tie Boyer elec. module under frame tube in front of seat w/ zip ties. Plug boyer points plate into existing harness as well as wires from electronic module. Time it with timing light (not static). Put baggie with old parts under seat. You can swap back in 10 minutes by the roadside if the Boyer ever flakes out. Carry your little static light and proper feeler gauge to set the points and static time it.
