I still have a Ural cargo box sidecar with Brembo disc brake option and KLR mount for your winter driving needs. Please someone come over and buy this thing. $1500 for an inmate. As an added bonus I even have the original drum brake wheel and swingarm. A little welding and it could be a trailer.

I have a pair of Firstgear HT II overpants size 34. A few years old but brand new still wrapped in plastic. $100

I have a like-new OEM 2007 KLR 650 seat and the original shock for the rear. The shock has about 3000 miles on it and I replaced it with a progressive shock. These should fit any KLR from 1987 through 2007. $50 each. Call 232 1556 if you would like to see them.

    TG...
You're killing me!!! I'm in way too deep in this truck project to seriously consider it, but I've admired that bike since I first saw it... This must be god's way of telling me I am surely damned... always dangling the carrot just out of reach.

Speaking of the truck, things are progressing nicely, just need to keep slinging fun tickets at it and all will be well... into it for about 3 new GS's at this point, hope to finish it below 5...:cry No wonder my wife wants to kill me!

:rofl I didn't want to end up bike-less this summer but momma says I can buy another if I sell them now. Thinking KTM or a 800GS. Of course its the worst time to sell. I really don't have to sell them but I am way motivated to get my house ready to rent and go house hunting.

    Cool.

I had a 51 Chevy P/U as a project truck. Could never figure out if the persistent sucking sound I heard when in it was the gas flowing thru the engine or the money leaving my wallet.

If all else fails there is enough steel in one fender to make a couple of Kias.

All body work is complete, going into primer and paint any day now, all mods to chassis have been completed and am currently dismanteling and prepping for powder coating. within the month I hope to be finally assembling the final product, with a target completion date of April 1, 2012. Unveiling will be at the car show in Eagle River, less than 2 years from purchase... and way over budget, but way Bitchin'!

What the truck is to look like when completed...

Nice... and soda blasted in the yard, too. I like that. Got contact info for 'em? Any perspective on their work, cost, etc?
