Up for grabs is this nicely farkled 640 adv. Ready for whatever adventure you want to throw at it. Lot's of extras including bags, rack, chain guard, sprocket cover, rezenco seat, fork bleeders, handle bar riser, tank bag, carbon tank protectors, ect. 13xxx miles and counting, newer sprockets and chain. Great bike overall. Email or phone works best to get ahold of me. Thanx -Ryan
Somebody must want this...... It's a great helmet just too small for me.
Looking to see if anyone is interested in owning a 2004 1150GS ADV. 30k miles, three windshields, few extras like pivot pegs, all three cases, new rear tire, tank bag, tank saddle bags, set of PIAA 1100x lights. Aiming for $8k. I have a lot of projects going on this winter so looking for extra money. I'm not desperate. Just sets me up for that 800GS in the spring.
I have a 2006 DR 650 with 8,900 miles on it. I got it from someone in Idaho and had it shipped up. When it arrived it ran very rough and often didn't started. I finally figured out it has a blown head gasket. I did a complete top end rebuild (see pics). The bike ran great for a while and then recently just stopped starting. I can't figure out why. But if you are handy with bikes I bet you can figure it out and get a fine machine out of it.
Here's the good stuff: after market tail pipe, Dynojet jet kit, aftermarket tail rack heated grips and aftermarket 4 gallon tank. This bike will go anywhere in Alaska. The pipe and jet kit give it a lot of power!
The bad: it stopped starting. It turns over and has spark, not sure what is problem.
You can buy it and fix for the winter and have an awesome bike in the spring. $2000.
Bike is in Haines.

Alright you F-ing F's here's the deal. I want to fly to Alaska next summer and buy a bike for a fly-n-ride back to Wisco. Testing the water to see if any of you are in the market for a Beemer up there. Since I won't have time to ride there and back....I'm either riding the RT up there and selling it, or flying up and buying something to ride back.
The RT has just over 22K on it now. So it will have under 30K miles on it if I ride it to AK next summer.
Link for pic.

Jeff if someone buys my XR, I will buy your helmet and give it to the new XR owner.
Bump, sorry but I am keeping the backs for the next bike, but the racks stay with it.
Sounda like a plan! Man IF I had the $$ I would seriously think about your 650. Wanna trade XR's? I'll even throw in the helmet!!
Trying this again. Have the title free and clear.
Its a 2008 Yamaha WR250X with nearly 44,000 miles on it. Still runs great, or at least it did before everything froze up here. Drained the coolant out before it got too cold at least, and added stabil to the gas. It was originally an R, swapped to X wheels and front brake around 25,000 miles. Had the valves serviced at 25,000 miles too, which was also the last time the suspension was rebuilt. Comes with a flatlands radiator guard and skid plate, seat concepts seat, wiring for heated gear and a garmin streetpilot 2720 gps, moose handguards, rear rack, and a few other bits. Has a fresh RK XSO chain and steel sprockets (13 front, 45 rear, stock is a 42) and good tires (continental contimotion sport touring front, heidenau K76 rear).
