Does anyone have any experience registering a converted bike with a bonded title? This is assuming the MSO for the bike is long gone. From what I've read it seems it should work unless the DMV has any way to know if the bike was for off road use only based on just the vin number.

I transferred a Georgia title for a XR650R with no problem in Jefferson County. No MSO

Ok, but you did have the georgia title for it and the state will accept any out of state title to register a vehicle. If you can use a bonded title to make it through the same loop hole is whatiI am questioning. Push come to shove I will just try and file the paperwork and see what happens. If I have any results I will post for posterity.

Im next door in MISS. I bought an old honda cb 350four. No title in my state..I had to get my ins. company to issue a bond for the title. Its $100 fee and done.it took a bit longer but I got it. The bike was from Alabama and no title could ever be found. Was last titled in 1978. Call your insurance carrier.
