Well, those would be the "unknown unknowns", to channel our former Secretary of Defense
Yer a pretty fart smucker, that's all I'm sayin....
Alan and Katy, I'll be thinking about you two and waitin :ddog for the next Steep & Rocky ride report. Always love them!
Heal fast and right Alan.
Thank you, we'll check it out!
Thank you for all the prayers, positive vibes & thoughts, entertaining posts that make us laugh, and insights, we are very busy dealing with everything here, but want you all to know we appreciate each and everyone of you and your comments, however we simply can't reply to every post, Email or PM. Please don't be offended if we don't respond to your comment(s).
Steep and Rocky
On the contrary, we are just happy you have been able to keep us posted as well as you have done.
Alan & Katy, I am resting at Priest Lake after being in Alaska and Canada for 4 weeks. My prayers will be with Alan on his recovery and for you also while you nurse him back to health and "try" to keep him from doing to much too soon. As Sam said, it takes a lot longer for us old guys to heal. Sam had to abandon me in Jasper, Alberta because his leg was really bothering him. Enjoyed riding with you guys on the Transcontinental ride we did in May. Hope to see you before the winter sets in.
Katy, I just heard about this accident. I am so sorry. You can count on me to send positive thoughts to you and to Alan.
You were on my mind most of the day today. Not because of this accident. It had something to do with corn.....
Tell Alan he can use the Bumpabump name for awhile, but, I do want it back!
Thinking of you both!!
All my best to you and Alan's speedy recovery!
Just saw this... Buzzy and I are thinking of you guys. Get better and take it easy.
And if for some reason your insurance doesn't cover it, let me know via PM. I happen to work for a company that does these tests -- I can fedex you a free sample test for Alan to take, and you'd have the results in just a couple of days.
Thoughts and prayers go out to you for a speedy recovery.
More prayers, thoughts and positive vibes sent your way from Oregon City.
I hope you have a speedy recovery Alan
Thanks to all for positive comments and encouragement. I am trying to read them all, but am not really feeling 100% yet, so am very slow to answer. Am currently in hospital right now and with all the wires and hoses hooked to my hands and arms, it is a little difficult to type. Hope to be out of here in the next few hours and be home where I don't have all the hoses and wires to deal with and also all the people coming into the room.
Have to go for now. Will try to write more later. Again thanks to all for the concern.
Don't know you, but hope your recovery goes well!
Headed home !! Eggs-cellent news
Take your time, take a nap, you'll have lots of time to answer posts.
Get well quick! The smart-ass in me wants to say "At least you don't have a stick in your neck", but I'm not a smart-ass.
You've got quite a lady taking care of you so you've got that going for you. And about a jillion friends and admirers.
No stick in my neck, but one in my right leg (a rod is a stick )
Could not agree more about the second half of your comment. She is quite a lady.
The Best News: I am home.
Going to rest for now. Will try to write more tomorrow.
Alan, it is great to hear that you made it home!
Rest up and get well!
