    I used a taller touring windscreen so it helped quite a bit. The only real wind I encountered though was riding home through Palm Springs.

    I used this Verizon plan on my recently completed ride to Alaska. Worked well where cellular signal was available. FWIW, 10,580 total miles Charleston, SC to Alaska on a 2012 KLR. Shinko 705 tires. Replaced rear tire in Anchorage at Alaska Leather.

    I did not. I started redoing all my photos on my ride report (because photobucket sucks). When I get to the end, I will update what happened. I kinda dropped the ball on that one.
