This is the winter bike, photo was taken last week. The summer bike (first one!) should be ready by next week. MSF course, and proper riding gear (eesh, gear is spendy) the first week of May. This is the first spring that I have actually WANTED the snow to melt. Can't wait!!!

Those of you that know me and my bikes know I've re-arranged the stable a bit over the last year. It's all about optimizing the fleet....and finding the right bike for the type of riding. I had to sell my K1200RS to purchase a long-longed for hot rod. :evil Figured out quickly I can't live without a brick....so I'm backfilling.....err optimizing.

My most recent acquisition.....04 K1200GT. Resides in lower 48 awaiting a transcontinental "fly and ride" this summer.

Last but not least is the BEAST. 07 KTM 950R Super Enduro. This is my two-wheeled trophy truck...

Nanuq & Legion, thanks for the compliments on the new paintjob. The ideas were mine, but the talent was all Mike Lavallee of Killer Paint in Snohomish, WA. I've been an admirer of his work since not long after starting in the sign business in '79. His work has been featured in all the trade mags, and he's the one who started the Tru-Fire craze about 12 years ago. Once I purchased the Big Adventurer tank, I knew he was the one who was going to paint it. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.:clap

I usually ride solo, so it looks like I have no pics of me and my bike.

But here's the bike. 1987 R80 last year at Summit Lake Lodge.

It has taken me awhile to get this together. This time in the semester is REALLY crazy.

    First bike.

    Second bike.

The GS. A short lived experiment.

But I did manage to get to Deadhorse.
