Just requested one of each. Looks like a great product for adventure riders!

I'll post when they arrive and let you know how the "mules" are doing now that the Christmas rush is long over.

    Cheers!!! :freaky

Wife just IM'd me on FB to say that the 2 stoves arrived - wound up giving one of my first pair away...can't wait to get back to the states and use them on my next camping trip!!

Got a co-worker from Sarasota, FL to order a pair as well and a Captain here may be ordering some as well!!

Now if only they sold HEET on base in Afghanistan I could cook my own food outside the office!!

Hey there, yep still making the stoves every week. For Canada, two stoves are $25 delivered. A single is $15 delivered. I sent one up there a week or two ago, and found at the post office that the shipping rate for Canada had more than doubled! :becca It used to be like 3 bucks, last single stove was about $7.50 just for postage.

Again, this is Canada rates I'm talking here.

I used mine (again) at Bike Week 2013 for some warm "porage" on a cold morning (38F Thursday night in the tent!!).......the stove worked like a charm!! They don't get much simplier, nor easier to use, than this. :deal

Just wondering... I was at a hardware store and my wife asked me if we could use a toast maker on the little stove? Before buying it I thought what about asking other inmates here and benefit from thier experience.

I ordered these last week based on the glowing reviews and received the simmer stove and the original one. I read the review where he cooked the food on the cheap backpacking pans and it just heated the middle up. I ordered up some fairly expensive thin backpacking pans the GSI Pinnacle backpacker. Great set by the way, link below.

So I gave it a test run with the simmer stove and used the very thin pan with the set and the pan heated evenly all the way around, not just the middle. I moved the bacon to the edges of the pan and it was sizzling as it was evenly heating all the way around. Impressed with the pan and really impressed with the stove. Bacon was done in about 7 minutes. I am fairly confident with the good backpacking pans and this stove you could cook anything you like and it would cook it perfectly. The stoves are light and compact, anyone on the fence out there i say get off of it and pick these guys up.

Bottom of pan was super clean as well no soot no nothing, no odor , no noise, awesome little stove and priced fairly. Hope this helps someone , with the right backpacking pans and this stove you can go gourmet after way to many mountain house meals.

Only complaint would be the small footprint of the stove and i had to balance the pan the whole time but i think i could just lean the pan handle against a rock or something. and it would be fine.
