Seems to work great but how is stabilty out in the field? When your camping you dont have a 100% level concreet floor instead your probably on a wobly field. How you guys cope with that and what would happen if the stove would actually tip over?

Ten bucks total should handle it for Canada. Shit, I better get out in the shop and start making some more of these things with 7 holes in them. :eek1

    Lol, that's a good sign right? :lol3

I put an order for another one. A buddy was sold on it as soon as he saw mine. I don't care how many holes it has as long as it heats up meh water. :)

Went out about the 10th or 11th. Little slow even for Canada shipping. Let me know if you don't see it in the next week or so.

    Shady,

I got mine... I tried them with just plain old rubbing alcohol and it takes a while to get it started but works great after it is going.

I look forward to handing them out to some of my riding buds as stocking stuffer/ small gifts for my buds.

Thanks for a great package. You need to engineer some small plates that can be linked to make a windshield that will come apart and store flat.

Went home and it was in the mailbox :D :D

Thanks, of course I had to try it.. I put in 99% alcohol and like everyone said it burns dirty. The flame was also pretty high, but I didn't have a pot on it.

hmmmm.. I wonder if thickening the heet into a gel would yield a longer burn time? i'll try and report back

When the stove heats up it will turn to a pretty hot clean burning blue flame, or it did for me any way.

Heet works Way better. No discoloration on my stuff yet using it.

Very interested in the gel idea, but would it evaporate properly to start the burn holes?

I gifted my college age son with two of the stoves I bought. He is backpacker and camper. Now maybe I will get my big stove back from him.

Hey, shipped right out, the Canadian ones are kinda slow going through customs I think. Keep me informed though on when you get them.....
