I was up there today and there are signs in the parking lot that say for customers only. This was the Trading Post parking lot. A couple of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>San Mateo</st1:place></st1:City> <st1:place><st1:placeType>county</st1:placeType> <st1:placeName>MC</st1:placeName></st1:place> cops there too, I don&#8217;t think I have ever seen that before.
Hwy 35 is messy too, they are paving and there is loose material all over the road. I think from just south of Pagemill all the way to hwy 92

This has been a long time coming. I've read reports for years that riders were doing burn-outs in the parking lot, drag racing away from the parking lot, and just causing general mayhem. It sounds like the owners and officers have decided to put some pressure on bikers.

I personally have no problem buying a soda or something, especially if I'm going to use the restroom. Alice's is a nice spot for a break, and I hope it stays that way.

Increased patrol of Skyline and surrounding roads will probably also be in effect, which is unfortunate. The last time I was up there, the highways were like a free racetrack, but riders/cars were considerate to each other, allowing passing as needed. Hopefully those abusing the area haven't ruined it for everyone.:deal

Sounds like you'll need to go in and buy a drink before hanging out there.

You can always ride south a few miles to four corners (Highway 9). No full time businesses there to hassle you.

I will be riding to Alice's on Nov 10th so any road condition update would be appreciated. My wife loves to stop for lunch at Alice's.

I plan to ride highway 9 and 35 from Saratoga north to highway 92 and then head to Half Moon Bay. Any information about the roads in this area would be helpful.

    Thanks.

Nice time to go. The Pumpkin Festival in HMB has already passed, but they are still doing Adventure Sail rides on tall ships this time of year. I've never done it, but it sounds interesting.

Traffic shouldn't be too bad by the time you get to Hwy 92 Saturday. Sunday afternoon will be a traffic jam headed east, though. If you can, you may want to take Hwy 1 back to Santa Cruz instead.

Ahh, I don&#8217;t think that happens very often. If they did it and came back into the parking lot, they would not get a good reception.
I did witness an expensive sport car doing that once. What a jerk.
I don&#8217;t ride by <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Alice</st1:place></st1:City>&#8217;s frequently and even more rarely stop. But it&#8217;s a nice place to take a break or stage a ride from.
Monday, I was the only bike there other then the cops
