There is no "kind of" about it. Big-E is a ledgend!
Looks like an awesome ride
I was thinking the same thing.....
You guys missed FR143 from Patagonia over to Amado. Too bad, but gives you an excuse to go back down there.
Yeah, floatation devices, we like floatation devices.
Great RR. Glad you guys had fun and thanks for taking the time to write the report.
We were looking for a way home around the west side of Tucson but had to be back in phx Saturday afternoon so we did. It have time to do a lot of exploring. Just going to have to to go back.
Some day I'm goint to move to Utah or Arizona it looks like duelsport heaven....................................
hey charlie, stopped by and got my trailer this a.m. it WAS rather depressing - knowing my desert retreat was coming to an end.
And, well, dam gone it, its fricken cold up top. And, well, DAM GONE IT, nobody cleared out my road and driveway while i was basking in the desert sun. So, after getting home, I was fortunate enough to run the snow blower for 30 minutes, hook up the snow plow to the truck and push my drive way and road out!!!!!!! @#$$%&* snow
I wanna retire and ride the desert all winter. brought both bikes back for a little maintenance so they are ready to go for another round of desert abuse.
Maybe our next ride won't involve 20 degrees f, highs of 45, and snow.
That was the best 4 days on a moto in awhile, lets dot it again
I've done the exact same ride except we ventured off into Sonoita for some wine testing. It's beautiful country down there but right now, it's freakin' cold. It's single track season, not 950 WOT season.
as much as people like to rib on Cycle Gear they sure do an excellent job of getting riders back on the road when in a bind.
For our next ride we will go to death valley in the summer. It cools off as you get closer to the ocean, right?
It was fun.
It is always 950 WOT season.
you guys are nuts.
Loved the writing, loved the pics. Big-E how's the shoulder coming along? And DOD every time I see your bike I think I need one Maybe they actually are nicer than my KLR.
These reports get me through the tough months. This was yesterday, and yes, I live in Alamosa
Yeah but it's 63 degrees today and I'm wearing a jacket.
That does it, you've got to move:eek1
Believe me I've been trying to drag his ass down here for years.
Damn it's cold there.
Thanks for sharing DOD.
Even the frosty pictures make it look warm there.
