There is a Buffaloe Dual Sport Ride (single track) and a Buffaloe ADV Ride. Same days. Same start location. Same camping spot. Same hog roast.

No sound checks for either ride. And bikes MUST have a plate.

So on the dual sport what is roughly the amount of single track, two track and road?

I got burnt this spring on a DS that was suppose to have miles of single track and it was mostly road and two track. I don't want that to happen again.

    Thanks

Nooby here - but lucky to have something quality to discuss in first post.
I've ridden Stoney Lonesome M/C's Dual Sport ride a few times and have been treated to outstanding trails and great hospitality.
The "Jones" section is good flowing single track and the last time I was there (2015 or 14?) they ran us through what I think was a beginning public riding area that had some fairly challenging sections that bordered on technical. Stoney Lonesome has an extensive history of event promotion and put on a good show. It's later in the year this year too so cooler temps will be nice.

If you are looking for good quality, and some technical single track you will not be disappointed. Also, the entire ride area has good elevation changes. Stoney MC club has a great facility, camping, and the hog roast is always top notch. Two thumbs up!

The dual sport is at least 30-40 miles of single track each day. Fresh unridden for years single track is being opened up for the dual sport ride. Very little road, I can guarantee. This dual sport ride is usually more of a trail ride with a few roads to connect properties.

The ADV ride will be a highlight of south central Indiana ADV riding. With one section of optional off road.

Camping Friday and Saturday. Hog roast Saturday night.

Will there be a GPX file for the Dual Sport ride?

No GPX file for dual sport. It'll all be marked with trail markers. One property has over 12 miles of trail set up. There will be several properties.

Adv ride will have GPX track.

It'll be honesty policy as the Buffaloe is a fund raiser for charity. Still finalizing route.

This is a great event, especially if you're a single track junkie. There's a big gap in dualsport ride definitions, this is closest to a hare scrambles event with roads connecting the course as you'll find.
