Correct! The DUAL SPORT is fresh single track trail with roads connecting! The ADVENTURE ride will be a highlight of central Indiana ADV routes Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will have an optional off road section. Saturday evening there is an all you can eat hog roast at Stoney Lonesome MC which is included with Saturday's registration. Free camping Friday and Saturday.

The Buffaloe 500 is a charity event with proceeds going to local Boys and Girls Clubs and Police and Fire. For the ADV ride Saturday is $25, which includes the hog roast. Sunday is $20. $40 for both days. Must be an AMA member to participate (insurance purposes). The DUAL SPORT rides is $40 for each day or $75 for both. Kickstands up at 8am both days. This will be a self lead ride.

I have posted the tracks for the ADVENTURE route on the first page of this thread. These tracks are to only be used the day of the ride because of the private property at Austin's place Saturday. Also, this will be a honesty policy that if you download the tracks, please attend the event and help us promote motorcycling and help local charities.

If you have questions let me know.

Scouted the ADV off road section today. 1.5 mile loop. Do it as many times as you want. It's on the Saturday route.

What is the gas situation for the dual sport? Spots on the way or bring a can?

Bring a can and we will haul it for you via trailer for the dual sport ride.

Historically there's been stops along the way, but some of those stops are out of business so things have changed up. Gas is included at lunch stop, I don't remember a can being needed in the past but I may be wrong.

On the dual sport route how far will it be to gas?

As long as I know how far it is then I can decide if I will need a can hauled or not.

    Thanks

I'd love to ride this, as I live right on the doorsetp of SLMC. But alas I'm away the weekend of this ride.

I did go to the dual sport ride last weekend (sept 30th) at LCRP, I met Roy and Rayce. In fact I was the only one who turned up for this ride. So it was going to be just me and Roy riding the 130 miles.
However my battery was dead and I couldn't ride. I don't think Roy rode either.

They said the month before (Aug 19th) there was a large dual sport ride from LCRP and it was a huge turnout and they expected the Buffaloe would be a huge turnout too.

Why would no one turn up to the Sept 30th ride?

I hope I'll make the Buffaloe next year though!

Sorry, Lawrence County Recreational Park near Bloomington.
Rayce, the chap who run the dirt bike school there is a member of SLMC. I believe he was one of the guys who set up the Buffloe in the first place.

Mileage is between gas stations I believe. I believe gas cans will be dropped off at lunch stop. Don't know mileage on that. I just plan the ADV ride. Email Ben from the ride flyer or call him. He plans the dual sport. Ride flyer with his info is on page one. Bens helpful.
I do know dual sport is 100 miles each day.
