    Looking forward to watching.

Hope they do the live onboard streaming again from at least one of the RoadRace Factory RedBull bikes.

    ^^^Cool.

Superbike times (so far) lean toward some very good racing.

How about that new kid Joe Roberts? First pro race and he blitzed the field. On a Honda.

Josh Hayes continues to reduce his points deficit from Daytona by winning races.

And a KTM in the top five.

Story of the weekend, as far as I'm concerned. I assume he's at least 16, but he looks like a kid.

Yeah, Joe must be the real deal. Of course he has superior experience, running the Red Bull Rookie thing the last few years. He ran up front there too. Amazing how that works...

Red Bull was a force in the Daytona 600 class too! :clap

Today's pass for the lead was around the outside of T1.

If he ever figures out how to start it might become unfair. :D

Generally, CBS will rerun the races but AMA proracing will put full races up on their website in a few days.

Hey Harv, that is a very graphic image. In my experience the rider on the outside of T1 has an advantage, and I suspect most experienced racers will hold that line. But there is a big attraction to diving inside. It just messes up the rest of that complex.

In your image, it is pretty clear that Joe is carrying much more speed. Such a fine graphic. It happens too fast on tape or live. Thanks for that.

Out of curiosity, why are there not many images of them turning up out of the bowl to the last turn? Even TV misses it. There is all kinds of styles and chances to take down there. It strikes me as one of the greatest turns in motorcycle racing. ?

I can't speak for where the tv cameras are positioned, but lots of photographs are taken in that last righthander--in the morning. In the afternoon, when most races go off, the light is wrong. Also, it's not a corner where you can get more than one bike in the frame, which is what you are looking for in "race" shots.

Actually, I tried to get a Supersport race shot from that section, but by the time I got my grid and start shots and walked that distance, young Mr. Roberts had gapped the field and there was no group shot to be had.

I believe he is contesting the entire Red Bull Rookies cup this season. The Euros know very well who he is. He will need backing if he is to progress through Moto 3 and Moto 2.

He is just now old enough to contest regular GP's and AMA/DMG Pro Nationals.
