I just downloaded the app. I'll gladly give feedback when I get a chance to use it.
Thanks, sounds good, I hope you like it.
All the best
Here is a video overview of the Best Biking Roads App for Android, it doesn't show all the features but it does show a nice overview.
Device used here is Motorola Droid X
Hope you like it
An update to Google's Map Kit for Android has introduced a small bug into the BBR app. A fix will be released for this in the next day or two

I'm going to give this a shot
This app has just been approved by Amazon on their new Android App store here:
I treid to download this app for my Droid X. Android Market would not install, says its not compatible with my device. I am running Gingerbread, but can't imagine why the app would be incompatible. All the other apps are compatible. Maybe there is something in your Android Market setup that needs to be changed to allow downloading to a Gingerbread device?
Let me take a look into this and see what I can find out.
For now, could you try using the Amazon Market and see if that gives a different result please?
Many Thanks for the feedback in any case
It would be great if there were a way to select what type of road you were searching. If I want to go get some action on my dirty bike I don't necessarily want to sort through a bunch of paved roads to find the dirt or off-road routes.
when i go to download it, it says midtexcellualr on the computer but my phone uses virgin mobile. will it still work? can i download it on my computer then transfer it to my phone via usb? i do not have a signal on my phone where i am currently at.
David: I was able to download and install it from Amazon. This is my first experience with Amazon. Its not as seamless as Android Market, but better than not getting the app at all.
I am running on a Droid X with Gingerbread. I don't get any menus on any of the screens. Where do I change it from km to miles? How do I download the gps files? I don't see either of those options. The app manager says I have version 1.3.
App crashed on my Galaxy Note 3, not right away though, browsed several local routes, crashed when I tried to display one of them on the map, pity, uninstalled it, seems to have been a while since this app has been updated on Andriod, how is it performing for other users?
Hi there Charles,
I'm using a Note 3 as my main device and have not seen the app crash since using it.
The problem may be related to corrupted data in the route itself (i.e. it may be related to that route only), could you send me the name of the route and I'll try to replicate the error.
Thanks David, think it was Slea Head in the Dingle peninsula south west Ireland, I do a lot of touring here and abroad and would be delighted to use and add routes to the app, let me know how you get on, thanks, Charles
I've been looking at this and it seems you have discovered a bug for loop routes when zooming on the Android version of the app, I'll need a bit more time to come up with a solution for this. Loops only constitute about 5% of the available routes so it shouldn't effect you using the app too much apart from that.
Apologies in any case, I'll let you know when I have a fix.
I've just released a minor update to the app which I believe should resolve this issue. I'd be grateful if you'd have a look for me and verify that.
All the Best
