Ring don't mean shit in my dreams. Don't mean shit...
................hey dr, you had your chance...
gosh.....come to think of it,that 7-11 has produced some opps
OK, Now you're just pissing me off.
hey razr, good job for leading the rest of the guys to newcomb's and giving them a taste of a night ride......:eek1 . we waited as much as we can, but good we ran onto you guys as we were heading back to the camp.
just wondering if septic every made it home last night. last time i saw him was with tim as they were heading south on the 15. clayton lead us to some brand new trails for me. basically, we came up from the north side and riding down from the front side, which was cool.
i post the pics of the weekend ride when i get home this afternoon.
We made it back okay. We thought about heading up Indian truck trail and over CNF, but the heat drained us too much, we took Ortega. Showered, ate, and passed out.
out of curiosity... how was the camping situation? were the camp grounds full at either place
not at all at Horse Flats, but if someone hadn't already got space for us at Holcomb Valley, we'd have been SOL
ok thanx, ive spent many nites on the trail jeepin up there because of that scenario.nothing has changed
temp in the shade right before i left my house
meeting place was at the 7-11 on oro vista and foothill in sunland.
before 5pm, septic arrived, then me, and shortly after rruugger. then waited for another 15 minutes
no one else showed up.. , but natalie gave us the patience as well as posing next to a husky for xymotic...
rode up on big t to upper big t and made it to the bottom of lynx by 6pm
we thought sito got creative by piling the rocks next to dunerat's empty beer can....:eek1
so we took off after 15 minutes and officially started the weekend adv ride..
sorry septic, the pic turned out blurry and your water crossing OC style sucks
and here's how we do it in LA.....
what the hell...:eek1, of all places the arsehole dumped the whole living room carpeting in the middle of lynx. not really, it was dropped by a helicopter....
septic wearing the bare minimum to survive the afternoon heat
we made it to the top of lynx without an incident
took a short break at mill creek before heading up on pacifico
I'm still converting and editing some of the video that I took.
Here's a short one of me following Sopascat up Cleghorn.

keep it coming
we got started late, so we didn't make the meeting at the 7-11, so we opted to meet RAZR at the Shell on ACH at 6:00 or so, RAZR got a pic........
it was me on the DRZ, my son on the TW, & sospelotudo & his wife 2up on a big new KTM.......RAZR had talked to tbarstow & told him we'd wait, so we die, till 7:00....& then cuz RAZR just came out for the Friday night portion of the festivities & wanted to do Lynx, that's what we did.......
I had a little trouble at the last bit of Lynx
(I know RAZR has more pix)
that & my general slowness delayed us to the point that we arrived at Newcomb's too late for dinner, somewhat to the worriement of my daughter. who was waiting for us there. (Fortunately, she had ordered us some dinner, so we didn't have to go to bed hungry)
Most distressing, after i fell, I lost most of my rear braking, so I did Pacifico in the dark with almost no brake........
I need to hugely thank schlim66, & his friend, who happened to be at Newcomb's for repairing the fitting & replacing my brake fluid, so I could continueon the weekend's adventure
awesome vid tim.....
Following Sospelotudo and Sopascat on Cleghorn. Its not too dusty because its hard packed.
Right about the 4:15 mark I eat it. Thank to Sospelotudo for helping me extract my bike from the chapparral and haul it back up to the trail.
you mean here?
