Man, you guys sure drink a lot.
Nice Porn!!!! Excellent, Bravo!
Now, we need you & other members to agregate to this. not just small contributions
And MJ, does Jose has internet? he shoudl be invited to this forum.
Its amazing how things happen nicely when not forced ...... hate cities, but needed something - leaving after no luck, but find a friend that was a foe and that contributed to apreciate the city in a different way. If your fking battery was ok, you would miss this part of the trip!
I did an 8 month travel -and thats one the most important things I learned - dont force & no rush, flow with the situation, addapt to it, it can bring better memories.
Ahh, All good things must come to an end.
Dankie julle. Ek verlang...

excellent thread, thouroughly entertaining. where all the riders on the adventure from?
pssst? on page 1, message #1... South Africa.
ok so I skipped passed page one. thought this might be a group od riders from BC Canada that had thier bikes shopped over to Africa for the trip.
Its an African thing, we will be having our annual "Bash" in the Hogsback mountains 10th and 11th of November I think Nardus and Michnus will be there not sure about MJ, but then we will DRINK!!!!
Hey MJ, amazing read. We live and play in Tanzania and we get to some seriously out of the way places, but I couldn't get it across like you've managed.
As the saying goes Boet "Africa's Not For Pissy's"
Hou so aan!
I love a report where I have to look up three words in Wikipedia...plenty to learn from it besides riding!

Fantastic reading! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.
My congratulations for your attitude and readiness to deal with the unexpected, always with a smile, always with a positive view.
It is similar to the attitude I found in StrikingViking, whose adventures described here are also quite interesting.
And then I find that Glen Heggstad (StrikingViking) pays homage and bows to your thread. Two of my favorite authors crossing paths ... or threads!
