Don't forget, catch up tomorrow arvo to talk about the Birdsville trip. Now at the Seaview around 4.30/5.00. We will share the view from the beer garden with OBJ:D

So far OBJ, Barra, Dale and me.

If you are keen for a quiet beer make sure you are there.

I might come via Townsville and follow that mythical route you fellas take to Birdsville if you are happy to share it.

Err sorry about the no show at the Seaview fellars, i got a better offer. :flip But the general plan is Thursday, Townsville and CQ crowd riding to Barc'y via Lake Dunn or whatever way ? , Camp here at my joint, then meet up with Henry and Speedwobble at Isisford and hit Windorah Friday night. All those in favor say AYE!

Us fellas will be leaving townsville and on the road by around 630am. It's around 630k's to to barcy, so don't want to leave to late and have to start rushing. Should be able to boil the billy a couple of times and straggle into barcy around 4-5 pm.
You cairns fellas could head to charters towers if you want to bypass townsville on the wednesday.
    How many in your mob?

Excellent Kenno, see you at CT. It is a great run via Lake Dunn, we get onto the dirt 70km south of CT.

It looks like Barra, Dale and myself will need to leave Monday am as we all need to be back in Townsville on Wednesday, not sure about Kenno. We were thinking about going home via Bedourie and Diamantina Lakes/Old Cork Station to Winton, then track back to the coast on dirt. Fuel range may be an issue, 575km across from Bedourie to Winton! I Think that is 35lts for mine.

Sounds good to me- Spoke with OBJ tonight and discussed this very problem. We have previously arranged a fuel dump at Diamantine NP on our last Central West and Gulf Trip but this time round OBJ said he should be able to carry fuel in his ute. Me and OBJ could head East from Winton while the rest of you go north

Unfortunatley when the blokes started planning this run we didn't know the ashes were being spread on Monday, we all assumed it was Saturday or Sunday. Most blokes only have 5-6 days off which means full days of riding and not enough time to stay for Bill's ashes. But with Phill's blessing we will head out to Big Red either Saturday evening or Sunrise Sunday and say our Goodbye's.

On another note for our crew, if we are heading home through Bedourie/ Diamantina Lakes/ Old Cork. etc I need to know numbers to organize enough fuel to get us back to Winton.

    Pete,

I was going to take my 2 x 12lt fuel bladders. I have not run the bike loaded before on any long runs so I am guessing that I will need an extra 15 lt. the extra would be a safety margin.

Let me know if there is room in the back or if it is better that we just take jerries to cover everyone.
