Great news mate.
Misunderstood original posters request.
Lets try again. Hi Clancy.
G'day Nev Having a few problems with buttons tonight???
Geez, what are you two on? :huh
on the red again Nev ??
Any crazy new purchases we should know about ??
Well, the K has given me good service for 2 and a half years, gone everywhere I wanted it to go, with only one FTP.
Now it's time to move it on and build Mk. 2
Starting with this
About time you posted something on here about this.
Now, break out the gas axe and get cracking!
That's all you'll be getting for a while Dave. I'll probably do a bit of a build report when it's finished.
What....... when it's finished :huh WTF
g'day Clancy, by the way nice suzi
How ya doin' mate. Yeah, it was a good buy. Now I got to start working on it Wanna buy the old one????
yeah all good here.
One beemer in my stable is enough, minister for war & finance says no spendings and the scambler wants go-fast bits so I'm workin on that
Looking forward to seeing the finished outfit
Could be a while. Starting from scratch again.
Hi Clancy .
You do not muck around do you .
Nice looking bike you have picked up there.
I was having a chat with the wife about what you are doing a few weeks ago as we were looking at the photos of your bmw at Pooncarie. She said sounds like a great idea and why don't i do the same:eek1
So the wife has already said yes to a Suzuki 1400 for me when we get the money together , (BUT) said i have to get her kle500 dirt sidecar done first .
I will be taking notes on your build of the 1400
All the best Ian
G'day Ian. Yeah, I was a bit lucky with the bike. Only 20,000 kms and immaculate. Tons of torque too
Won't be doing too much of a progressive build report mate. Probably just a story once it's finished. It will be a similar concept to the old one, just lighter, and a better use of space. Doing a bit of research, drawings on scraps of paper and asking lots of questions at the moment.
I'm not sure whether to start a totally new build thread for the new outfit or just carry on from where I left off, so for now, this is the thread for the build of Mk II. There's not going to be much in the way of pics for now though. I'll post up the full story when it's nearly finished, but for now just a couple of teasers
The new bike.
Added a few farkles; new screen, car tyre on the back, bigger tyre on the front, a few wiring and fuel line mods, ready for the sidecar to go on.
The start of the new sidecar
That's the stuff Neil! Whoo Hoo!
Wow, lots to like there! Very pretty bike and nice upgrades, can't wait to see the finished result...
Bloddy hell that looks so gay
What else did you expect me say Neil
Bloody typo's and fat fingers
