Did't measure it. Was hoping that my attachment points would line up but they don't, so now need to make up more brackets , just stuck them side by side after doing the front forks.

Bummer. Oh well , at least they still sell welding rods so isn't all bad.

But more to the point , did you sit on it and make Vroom Vroom noises ?.
I know I do and the mate just shakes his head. He loses it when I yell " push me poppy , push me " :lol3

Looking forward to the end result.

Claude, you have GOT to go to the library and get "The Flight of the Southern Cross", written by the WWI fighter pilots Nordoff and Hall, if you really want to know what flying to Aus is like.

Claude you could come and finish mine and then ride it round for a month, I've got all the camping gear you'll need, come on down, how's that for a deal !! :deal can't offer anymore.

May have a couple of left side sub frames for 1200 GS's to put in your luggage though, got a few blokes thinking hard.

    OK. It's taking shape.

The basic frame is finished and I'm just fitting all the bracketry for the "hang on" stuff. Like this...

    And this.....

Lots of fiddly little brackets and stuff still to be fitted then I can start making the fuel tank and storage boxes. More later.

Well, it's been worth the wait. Another great creation, although no doubt some of your so called Ozzie mates will yet again have a go.

Thanks John. I'm not posting up the full build until it's finished this time. It just drags out into a saga instead of being a quick story.
Yeah, they'll all have a go mate:lol3 but we share it around. It'll be my turn next time:lol3 3 legs is usually the main culprit (:waveAlex) but he's building another one at the moment too.
