Don't know if you noticed my version of the vent hoses in the main thread so, I'll post here.

I used a part from the SAS system mounted to one of the outlets from the collector box that you modified and a small K&N Breather Element.

Guess what I picked up today :evil............one RH tank and seat :cry still waiting on left tank ordered these in August .
So it's 42deg C today sweating my arse off in a garage looking and seeing what has to be done next

Also got some goodies from KTMTwins , Fastway Adv pegs , sigtech clutch slave, and CA fuel pump .

Now I've been thinking of a fuel pump set up like the 950's with the pump up front down low with all tanks draining
Into the pump manifold then pumped to the throttle body ?

Also had to check whether the rally tanks will fit on the 500 .........No :cry:cry

Cool! To bad you missing one tank, but with the seat and RH tank there is a lot to start with.
Lookin forward to your build! :clap

Nice project! I actually thought you had bought another pro built Dakar bike!

Ok, now it's finally getting near what I was aiming for when I started this project. The latest is new suspension. Forks from an -05 Husaberg enduro with new springs.
Rear is something from outer space :evil

A little bit longer than standard "E" shock. Fits perfectly with exc-forks.

Nice , they are so much better with longer legs.

    Good luck with Hellas

It was cool to run into you at the Hellas Rally and put a face to the (forum) name Tomas!

Bike looked great, and I found these pictures of you on their Facebook page:

I'm going to build one of my 690's into a Rally / Adventure style scoot.
I'd rather not give KTM Basel $7,500 for their kit if I can avoid that.

My Question is does anyone know of a dealer who can order the parts
needed to build the Bike ????

While I can find the part #'s for these items, none of the U.S. dealers,
Munn, KTM World, etc. seem to be able to order them.

The parts in question are the two front tanks, rear tank, exhaust
header, complete fairing / mask, fairing support / road book tower
    and the seat.

    Twist it, Max

If you add up the cost of the parts by ordering from a dealer you'll probably find you're over $7500.

    I just checked the fairing, it's $5k alone... that's AUD checking my local dealer;

You can get the fairing through various aftermarket sources, the tanks may be more difficult.
