Any Barkbuster-type hand guard that retains stock HB weight?

    Looking for a AL-based hand guard system that retains the stock weights...I have a throttle lock that needs to live there.

    In my searching, I saw a company that used to make a custom design, but they seem to be out of business.

    Any leads?

    Never found one but Barkbuster has a GS version that might work - if you haven't looked already..

    I THINK I saw some new styles in the Twisted Throttles Catalog I picked up at the show a couple weeks ago.

    There's one style, more for wind deflection then crash protection that only connects at one point on the bars. Worth a look.

    Thanks for this...I definitely want some metal crash protection there...even parking lot spills seem to overpower the stock plastic ;>

    Adventurers Workshop is gone I believe. Adventure Designs in CA offers Cycras for the GS although they aren't on the website. You'll need to call them. The Cycras are on my Xmas list.
