One of the accidental benefits of restoring my old Airhead has been getting to know my Dad again.

In his youth my father rode. But due to a pretty bad accident, he stopped. As the BMW is just about done (with the caveat that it will never really be 'done' ;) ), I've been toying with the idea of our next project together.

He's mentioned in his youth running a Pirelli Motorcycle. Smaller bike (150cc?). Unfortunately, I can't find any solid information on Pirelli motorcycles let alone anything that would match the basic profile I've been able to gather from our discussions.

Its possible I misunderstood him. But if anyone has any information regarding Pirelli Motorcycles (50+ years ago?) I would very much appreciate it.

    thanks in advance,

It frankly could be either of these (although 'Per-el-ee' is what I think I hear). Clarity and pronunciation is sometime far more difficult than it should be.

While its clear his was a small, fast and extremely enjoyable bike ;) The ability to zero in on images of bikes / parts, etc. remains the easiest way of communicating. Parilla and Benelli are enough for me to start at least pulling together a few images I can use to iterate on. Thanks!

And to others, keep the options coming ;) And any background on Pirelli motorcycles (if they made them) is still appreciated.
