I have an excuse too. I started my new job in Colorado at the beginning of this month. The scenery is a bit different here. 😜
Yes, it's torture to ride around here, but somebody has got to do it!
welcome to Colorado yea I like moved out here about 4 weeks ago after getting a job in Longmont. I hope you have been injoying all the flooding like I have been . I got trapped up in the mountains for 3 or 4 days on my bike here you want to see some of the pics I took while I was trapped east of lyons for a few days
Glad you weren't one of the folks caught in the stretches of deep narrow canyon. It seems like the heaviest rains were concentrated around the canyons from Boulder to Lyons. In Colorado Springs there were some dicy areas at the foothills but mostly just heavy street flooding and some damage to low areas or depressions where water channeled through down hillsides. I was out driving when one heavy downpour started and I turned up a hillside figuring to stay out of low areas. Even near the top of a hill, water was rushing out of side streets almost as high as my tires. This was on the side of a hill and not in a canyon! I was lucky not to get stalled out. Crazy stuff.
So did you guys get much rain in Wichita?
