Local owner of this very recently acquired FYK100RS called me today. Told me he was going to play hooky with his new toy this afternoon and wanted a day ride suggestion. Then maliciously conned me into going with him.:deal

Did I ever mention how much I LOVE riding my K75? Didn't think so. :lol3

Meh, not me. As a fellow K75 lover, it never gets old and think it is great that you've taken such good care of it.

It is going in for the 18,000 mile service and getting the "jump guard' installed on the cam drive.

1993 K 1100RS in the best bike color, red of course, Mystic Red to be exact. Here I am on it:

I have a Kisan signal minder which converts the turn signals into running lights, there are also aux LED turnsignals which are mounted on the bottom of the stock which are not lit up so they are hard to see. The beast has close to 100K miles and runs very well. The extra running lights I added from Walmart cost $15 but work great. I don't really use them for lighting, but just to get seen better.

Drum roll.... Just turned 125k miles on my trusty K100RS. :clap

Bought the bike in Iowa from the original owner with 21k miles on it in 2009. From there on the miles added have been all mine. Paid $900 for the
    bike.

Not too bad a return on investment. (Sure beats my bank CD's all to hell)

I always loved these. It came out the year after I bought my 06 K1200S and was only available for a year so I never got to own one. Had it been available in 06 I would have gotten this instead of the S. I still search online for a clean used one on occasion. Great color too.

You may have trouble with whatever crash-pad you have fitted. There isn't a lot of clearance between the top of the standard clamps and the underside of the crash-pad, especially those with optional equipment switches mounted.

The crash-pad mounts on the two screws facing to the rear (just below the handlebar clamps):

You may need to lengthen the crash-pad mounting brackets.
