My old FJ-55
oooh! A 55!
You ff's have some cool toys.
One of my work trucks when I was a geologist working out near Marble Bar in Western Australia about 30 years ago. They were all diesels and damn I wish I had one now!
You can find them in the US but will cost bunch of shiny pennies. Here's again my 40 on the road:
With the moto:
I think Legion has a couple of nice ones, posted in "Cool Trucks". I used to own a FJ55 as well, twice even.
...does this count?
Im an FZJ80 owner... a locked 1997 40th with 174K miles. I love this truck -- super capable in stock form, enough creature comforts -- perfect for my uses.
Im 27 and expect to own it till I die.. or we run out of fossil fuels
I have been looking to buy an fj40..... Hopefully will be contributing to this thread when I do. Had a Jeep CJ-7 as my first car and loved it. Always wanted a Toyota.
Roonie, You dont have to own a cruiser to be a cruiser head... Im about to go cruiserless in the near future, but I've always been and will always be a Land Cruiser fanatic!
That is a Colombian bumper, from Villavicencio what gives..
Dod that is what gives..
Yepper. I've had a couple of nice FJ45's and an FJ60. Still have one of the 45's in the garage.
Stout stuff for sure. My daughter hit a moose in an FJ60 and it tore the mirror off.
This is the 45 in my garage now. I'll be peddling it soon. I rec'd notice from the in-house commander that of the 6 cars and trucks here, 4 of them are mine and I'm the only one parking in the garage. Word is that that's changing right quick. Can't blame her.
I also have this. Not a cruiser but it's in a similar family.
Oh, and this, too.
Really nice trucks. Dig the solid axle 4 runner.
The truck was imported from Columbia.
I used to own a '85 FJ60 and I wish I'd never sold it. My parents still have a '88 FJ62 (bought new, 230k and counting), a '89 FJ62 (cherry) and a '87 FJ60 which gets beat on as a farm truck.
Way back when - Working for a few years in Arnhem Land in northern Australia
My '67, not my house.:huh
When we first got it.
