1/2 mile hike-a-bike today made me glad I put the high fender on the 950...

OK well if you do go with the full-on roadie lycra then it is an unwritten rule that you shave your legs. :D

Pretty much how I feel right now. Except I'd rather be on my 450 then a 990:D

Hopefully I can learn some better dirtbike single track skills. 20 years of mt biking helps me pick lines but it doesn't help me control the throttle or feel that damn rear foot brake!

Yup, got lost......but whatever trail I was on was a real tight single track near Palisade Rim. Id still rather ride lunch loops though :evil

Got caught in it on the Cowdrey Draw trail - the newish connector between Superior and Community Ditch.

Figure it's worth a shot to post in this thread. I'm looking to buy a road or cyclocross bike for a 3 day charity ride I'm doing this summer (courage classic). Probably need a size 58cm. Let me know if you have a bike you'd like to sell.

6:30 this morning. 1.5 hours to get up the mountain and back before work. Climbed some stuff I'd never cleared before... 29ers are like cheating! :D

I've seen a few Kona Jakes on craigslist for about $800 to $1000, nice tough bikes.

If you buy one and want to sell it after the race, let me know. I want to do a CX race or two this winter. I'm more of a 56, but could be flexible. I'll meet ya in Vail? :evil

Some cyclocross bikes are measured a bit different. My road bikes were all around 54 but my 1st 2 cross bikes were 52's and my current one is a 53 (I think)

You bought the Versys after TWO Wolpack members owned it? Brave soul you are... :)

Oh yeah, I forgot. But you can't compare the Versys to your 990. That's like comparing a nun to a old, nasty, retired pornstar.

We just rode bitterbush and the nelson loop.

Holy heck was that fun! We did the lollipop clockwise and the backside was a big flowy rollercoaster. I'm still grinning :ricky
