That's a good one as well, the only potential down-side to it is it's more permanently mounted so air filter cleanings could be overlooked due to the extra work of dismounting the seat?

Intresting, the way it looked to me when I was checking out the mounting was a bracket in the front with only one bolt in the rear to remove the hole thing... did I miss something?

I really enjoy riding the trials bike on trails. Technical single track is much easier and more fun than my KTM500 (which is an awesome bike). I'm selling my Beta Rev3 this week, and will be without until the new Betas are in later this year.
    Love my trials bike.

I know this is an old thread but this looks like a fun area. I live nearby and don't recognize it. Can you pm me or post the area? I'm thinking downieville will be a lot of fun on the trials bike

I don't think DV would be that great on a TB-just too groomed for MTBs, unless you strayed from the trail, and that is one of the last places I would do that. Fordyce Jeep Trail is not far from there, much better. Do you ride at the PITS property? That is a fun area when others join.

I'll prod DryKayak so he can give up his secret spots to you, the ones that haven't burned anyway. :-(

Not sure if I would get in trouble if I gave up a secret trail that was devastated by the King Fire. I better error on the side of don't tell.... the keepers of the secret trails know who I am.. :lol3

Horse Canyon is a dirt bike legal trail at the east end of Silver Lake on 88. I think it qualifies as a "more fun on a trials bike" trail. Check it out next summer..

There's some good stuff at Donner Summit too. Just watch out for the rock climbers... multi-use trails.. :eek1

Moon Rocks north of Spanish Springs is a ridiculous trials playground... with no one riding trials on it.
