Count me in, if it ain't to late
Apologies for gatecrashing your thread.
I am currently travelling through Dongara and due in Perth this weekend (car and caravan - not on a bike).
Trusty old Etrex shat itself so I don't know where I am.
What the best shop for GPS (handhelds) in Perth or aurrounds?
Thanks in advance.
I have an old yellow etrex and a garmin 45xl in the draw gathering dust. You are welcome to one of them if that suits. No maps installed.
Not too late....pay online and rock up.
Would be great if you can bring a certain photo of a humongous rut in a track somewhere near Mt Palmer.......and I think my bike and me laying close by.
And you can beat Bully in the karts!
Better bring a big stick then Robert. Only thing you will beat me with.
Metro Road tomorrow, the track into Julimar has a couple of really big puddles that will have 2wd vehicles struggling.
Heading in about 5kms, Dremented's ute is a white twincab Rodeo and mine is a white longbed Rodeo, both will have trailers behind.
Going to see 2013 TT at Hoyts Carousel today at 4pm.
Hi guys. Trying to start up a Facebook page for owners and admirers of the mighty KLR650 for us West Aussie. Feel free to join!
Fantastic idea! I've joined the page and added a friend who rides one too. There are a lot around WA but many sadly remain on the bitumen.
Hmmmm, I think it is getting to the stage where I may have to join this facebook thingy
So Dave, does that mean you are being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century
Is anybody up for a ride on Sunday?
Yes. Time and place ?.
I'd say BP at Crystal Brook (Welshpool Rd East) at 9.00am.
Then head off to tracks via Pickering Brooke.
Good time bit of a sleep in. 0900 it is.
Would like to come along to meet you guys. Will the ride be klr650 friendly?
Only one way to find out come along and play. Any one else interested ,is this a DR or TE ride ?.
Kicking and screaming, yes cause I wont do it quietly
I'm on a KTM 690.
Have a good track - 150km from Pickering Brooke to Albany Hwy just South of Jarradale Rd (Dale Rd, Smith Rd, Running Brook Rd, Watershed Rd, Millars Log Rd). There's options from there - back via Serpentine or tracks near Nth Bannister.
Mainly dual track with a little singletrack, nothing too hard IMO.
Open to other suggestions.
Thats not a bad loop, took my young bloke out for his 1st DR650 dirt ride couple weeks back and did that to Metro then back via Shultzstead.
