Heck, there are more replies in that one thread than some forums here.

It's just impossible to find anything in there any more.

I second that, A forum would make it much easier to find and give specific info with out re-answering the same questions over and over as the thread grows...:freaky

    Mike,

Sounds like you're in charge of this new forum. I'll try and post the first pic:

Go through the big thread and pick up the relevant posts and create an index thread with links.. like the KTM LC4 and BMW X Challenge index threads.

We will not be subdividing Thumpers. For bike specific forums, have a look at thumpertalk.com

Thank you for the pointer to Thumper Talk, and goodbye. If you are not going to split Thumpers, I may as well move on, because what information is available there about the DR650 is either buried under a mountain of clutter related to other matters or bikes, or jammed into massive threads that must be read end to end. It's a waste of time for someone looking for specific details about the bike.

Why don't you take that 'tude over to Thumper Talk while you're at it. When you're done having your ass handed to you, why don't you come back and help to organize an index thread like was suggested? There are too many brands and models to have unique forums. There's a good reason why there is so much activity here and so little on those other sites.

We can't be everything to everybody. Don't like it your free to leave. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

What if the dr650 thread was used for general discussions and we had a series of threads under thumpers all with a common tittle eg (DR650) at the start of the heading so that they will be grouped together with a simple search and then subscrbe to them. Thoughts????????????????????
I just started a few and would like opinions before i make more.:beer

I want...NO, I DEMAND A HARLEY FORUM. And if I don't get it, I'm packing up and going to HDForums to discuss tassel length and colors. :ddog
