Looking to order clutch parts, anyone here ever dealt with them?
bought a few carb kits from them.... no problems for me
Only carb kits and seals, no real hard parts like clutch. No issues, quickly shipped.
I bought gaskets, and carb kits, and couldnt fault them. Very helpfull, good communications(I am in Australia)
Would use them again.
What Johno said, except I am not in Australia.
Apart from carb kits and seals, I've also bought throttle cables from them. Good guys as what others said.
I have also ordered carb parts and gaskets from them. Good prices and fast shipping.
guess i've been out of the airhead loop too long-- WTF is EUBMW?
I found their website, and see a local address as Alexandria VA-- is this the latest iteration of Capital Cycle???
I bought a 81+ airhead clutch disc from them - price was too good to pass up then, it seems to have gone up since. It was aftermarket, Italian company I had never heard of. The unit looked to be of decent quality. Never was able to make it work - it wouldn't release. Couldn't figure out why - it acted as if it was too thick, but it was within spec. I gave up on it, put in a used OE disc and got back to riding. Never bothered to return it because I want to figure it out someday, damnit.
I've also bought various other bits from them. Great prices and good service. When I got the wrong oil pressure switch, they made it right and sent me the correct one immediately.
I've bought carb kits and throttle/choke cables from him. He's good people--when he sent me the wrong throttle cables I returned the wrong ones and he sent me a couple valve cover gaskets for free.
I continue to support his business. He is old school--will even send before receiving payment!
Good prices, but the gaskets I got (valve, head, pushrod seals) didnt look as good as OEM for some reason, so I think I got some OEM's but kept the valve cover gaskets around to abuse. They just looked off, I didnt trust em.
I think that was EUBMW, but it was a year ago, now...
A+ business (two thumbs up)
Thanks to all who replied, been on vacation fot the last week and wasnt logged on at my sister in laws.I need the clutch disc, and probably ought to replace metal parts too whilst I'm in there.Get my tranny back from Oak this week and hope to have my baby (R90S) back on the road soon.
Khan at EUBMW is a great guy, does good work fast and prices are fair.
I've been doing business with EUBMW for several years and theyre great people, with good products, low prices and fast delivery.
Never had a problem and they usually ship my stuff before receiving payment.
Great prices, fast shipping. Really fast for me. Whats not to like? Another airhead vendor that made the cut for me was Cycleworks. Northwoods Airheads also has great prices and service.
Once purchased a few bits which were on back order, in the meantime I sold the bike; when parts did arrive a simple phone call and they were returned w/ no hassle.
I ordered all the stuff to re-seal the top end on the r90 from EUBMW. Great prices. Fast service. I'll certainly be back.
Any recent reviews of this place? Rumor has it he can work on Kawasakis as well...
As many others have attested this is a trustworthy vendor, easy to deal with, and with reasonable prices.
