Just curious. My SO likes me to have a riding buddy when I go far from home, and this year it is in Asheville, NC on June 27th to 30th. Just checking.

If I break the 758 miles down into 70 mile increments, it would be doable, so no.

Several, and probably a few chuckles, chortles, snickers, and guffaws as well.
I will follow you any where if you bring that Dalwhinnie stuff.
    :lol3
Let's pencil that in, we can discuss more at Hiawatha.

It's on my calendar. I want to ride to new locations next year, and groove with the groovy by golly gosh.

1/2 assed maybe in. Depends on how next year shapes up.

I'm not much of a rider though.

Perhaps we can find some groovys on the way down.
    :lol3
I have gone down around Chicago a few ways that are not too bad. I found that the roads get better right across the border and down a bit in Indiana.
    :nod

Once I get close to a route picked, I usually use Google mapping and turn on the earth view to see where the wrinkles and water are, the roads in those areas are usually the best. I then adjust accordingly. I don't want to add hundreds of miles, but if we can see some stuff, that is always nice.

We get any more, this could become another rolling rally.:lol3
Who knows, perhaps my brother and OU812 are in too. Grainbelt? Klay? I don't like riding in large groups though, but we can break down into smaller groups and meet up at points. That helps separate the fast and half fast riders.:lol3

BYOB has been on my list for a while, though I fear it will be too warm for my northern sensibilities in June.
