Just finished my first two days. Please tell me I'll be able to move normally again someday! Oh the pain!

Ok - I'm interested now. I'm WAY out of shape @ 215 and only 5'11 and 45. Is this something out of reach?

Intense workouts that are different every day , in a group setting , the wife does it 3 to 4 times a week .

Many gyms in area , she goes to Crossfit 425 in Bellevue . Look for introductory offers on groupon .

After the 12 month, you can take it without lube. :lol3

Price is keeping me from it, too.

25€ for 2 WODs a week, 30€ for 4, 35€ without limits. Thinking hard about it anyways.

See if there's a Meetup group in your area doing Crossfit.

Sign up for a month, learn the basics, then just get WOD's from a blog like GoRuck http://training.goruck.com/ or SOFWODS https://sofwods.com/2014/02/sof-wod-feb-25-3/

Or trim your budget. $145 a month is $5 a day. I save about that much each day packing a lunch instead of eating carryout.

Crossfit is really over priced and only worth it if you go all the time. if you go all the time you get into the "crossfit Changed my life, talk about your certification levels Etc" group. It gets borderline gay. On top of that there are no other work outs you can do there. Only CF.

However if you find a normal gym that also offers CF Its worth it. In Sacramento I belong to Pipeworks. Its a climbing gym. They have the climbing area, and good size weight/ cardio area, two yoga rooms and....a crossfit building next door. Cost...70 a month unlimited. I go to CF 3-4 days a week and lift and or run the other days. The Instructors are awesome and not all CF clicky.

I really enjoy it and will push my self much harder than I will by my self.

I don't know but in the office/shop park where my shop is.
There are no less then 5 cross-fit rhabdo centers within shot putting distance.

Seems like a gym fad to me.

This is how I would do it. Like others, the only facilities I have near me are Crossfit only. If I had an actual gym that was close and convenient, and it also did Crossfit so I could vary workouts, and didn't cost a C-note and my first-born everymonth...

Oh, yeah; the time to go would be nice as well.

    And so it begins.
The rhabdo center right by my shop, just up and closed it's doors at the end of last month.

Wonder how long until the rest of the places (about 10 in the greater industrial park complex/city where my shop is) follow.
