Yep, he used to throw some great NYE parties in DFW. Think he spends most of his time at the Farm now, but I haven't been around there a whole lot to see what he's been up to.

Well it looks like you've been around long enough by that post count.

    Goodluck with it.

    hypothetical for everyone here:

Guy says he will buy your bike you posted in the flea market. You come up with a price you can both live with and turn down a few other offers that were close in price but the guy really wants the bike. He asks you how much to hold the bike with full payment coming in one month.

$500 sounds like a fair amount to hold the bike.

So he sends you $500 to hold it.

You wait a month and nothing from the buyer.

You PM him and he actually says he forgot about the whole deal. Says he'll see what he can do.

He offers to send you another $500 but you say no, it's ok because I trust you.

He then backs out a week and a half later, only to send you another PM a week after that telling you to call him "right now" so he can pay for the bike.

You call him that very next morning and he says "too late" but then goes on to say that he's still trying to sell a car and wants the bike.

Finally almost three months from saying he wants the bike he then says, nope, can't do it.

What would you tell this guy when he asks for his deposit on the bike back two years later?

Please let this go to JM. It's winter and even I can smell blood in the water.

And Pete(tm), assuming your story is accurate, two years later I'd tell him to go fuck himself :deal

You knew I was scrambling to try to make that deal happen; I was straight up with you about that. It was a very difficult time. I also made it very clear to you to sell the bike if you got an offer while I tried to get it together so as not to create any inconvenience for you.

Then, after six years and 9k plus posts, you just up and left ADV without responding to my pm's.

Why did it take you two years to get back to me on this?

I left ADV because I started a new forum with a few other people. The only reason I saw this is someone told me about it.

You never emailed me, called me or hell you could have sent me a letter.

Difficult time? I didn't force you to send me the money to HOLD the bike. I didn't force you to jerk me around for three months.

I figured that you realized the massive jerk job that dealing with you was and recognized that I had indeed held the bike for three months while you kept telling me that you were going to buy it. I walked several other people because WE HAD A DEAL.

You asked me how much it would cost to HOLD the bike. You held it.

I still have the bike. If you want to purchase it, I'll gladly credit you the hold money you sent me.
