Does anyone know of a place in either Bham or Mt Vernon that carries RAM mount bits and pieces? Im trying to cobble together some Go Pro mounts for the bikes and would really rather be able to fondle some stuff. Thanks.

I haven't found a place yet. I'd also like to find a RAM parts store nearby.

Some West Marine stores carry them if there is one of those close.

Im heading down that way in a few weeks, so I may have to. Do they have a decent selection of ball mounts and arms and such? I know they do in the catalog, but what do they have in stock.

As a side note. Ive never even been to their place. Is it cool? Worth a visit?

http://www.altrider.com/ is in north Seattle, they have a good selection. They had what I needed when I wanted it. Nice guys to talk to, and a few bikes and goodies sitting around, but more of a shipping location than a shop.

Pretty sure they have a full selection. Can call to make sure. It's been a few years since I've been there, though.

It's only an hour down from Mt Vernon, great Saturday jaunt!

It's really cool. Their last place was a dumpy little hole. The new one is a really slick buildihng, lots of room for demo bikes and such.

The new Tulalip Cabela's might have what you're looking for.

OK, then I'll hit 'em up the next time I'm down there.

Don't know much about them, but maybe I'll check them out.

Yeah, good call. Ive been to the Cabela's in Post Falls quite a few times and dont recall them having RAM stuff there, but I wasnt really looking for it either.

They had 'em in the Olympia/Tacoma/BFE Cabelas when it opened. Boating section, so more generic bits than bike bits.

Not sure what RAM mounts are but Fairhaven Bicycle has a GOPRO display right inside the door with some cool mounts (chest harness and handlebar mount) I bought a handlebar mount and i must say it's the best perspective i have seen yet but you have to wipe the lens often.

The AltRider guys are top notch. Their gear is the highest quality I've found. Not that their RAM mounts will be any different than another's, but any chance you get to support a cool local company is cause for :clap.
