I like olebikers idea of sending the local paper a letter detailing the events. I think this business deserves all the attention it.....deserves!

Gan is such a small community it won't sit well with the other retirees living there.

Maybe it'll make these asshats think twice before sending another senior down the road.

I did send a letter to the Gan Reporter. Haven't heard back yet.
I think it may be hard for them with limited advertisement options ...

To the V-Strom riding gentleman who so kindly gave me a ride from Perth Road Village to Loughborough Lake today..............did I leave my keys in your car? Please PM me.

    Thanks

    Nick

I'll keep it brief Dave, because its something I'm working on.....

No keys yet. I've replaced the ignition switch with a spare and have a locksmith looking for keys to match the original switch.

The Nuovo Falcone is fine - it was just a fuel lock and some crud in the jets. All part of learning its tricks and pleasure. Before it quit, it was running nicely at 55-60, so it will happily keep up with traffic on the roads I ride. That pleases me no end, as it means long trips to remote places are definitely a possibility. Can't wait 'till spring.

    Nick

PS We must call it the 'Nuovo' Falcone (or NF). The Falcone is another animal altogether - and considered a real classic.

Hey Nick, have you considered placing a "Lost" ad on the Kijiji site? Maybe the guy's having a hard time finding you?

Thanks Mike. Yep, I did for a while. If they turn up, great. But if not, I've already moved on.

Well that is nice to hear of a simple fix. Simplicity has it's benefits!
The nice thing about a single....you don't have to figure too long as to which carb to tackle first.
Look forward to hearing it putt along this spring some time.

I don't suppose anyone is heading to the Picton area in the near future? Nothing important, just a Kijiji find that isn't worth a dedicated trip down to the county (at least until the weather warms up and I can ride!)
